According to MY PAPER (Monday, 24 March 2008), prospective students say that careers, scholarships, internships and reputation are more important factors when considering which University they go to.
The paper spoke to some students, did a table on the overall strategy used by the 3 universities, the online approach of advertisement and finally here is their verdict -

SMU
5 out of 10 polled liked its online look best. The website secured 30,000 hits in 10 days since it was launched. -
NTU
None out of 10 polled thought its online site is the most attractive of the three varisities. [alaskie says, "Whoopsie!"] -
NUS
5 out of 10 like NUS online ads. However, 7 out of 10 said NUS is their university of choice regardless of its ad campaign.
THE WINNERS: SMU AND NUS
The above in blue is taken off MY PAPER. – I didnt fake a single word but im doubtful about the sample they took to come out with a verdict like this. (oh well….)
Just as a learning point. SMU did not use any Web2.0 platforms to advertise compared to NTU and NUS. So SMU plans to garner “votes” solely on their online prospective students portal, billboards etc. So maybe you should go check out the buzz here!
Another note. NTU [not sure whether it was an err in the 1st place] has corrected the err and now it reads as NTU Official site with the correct link. Im cool now.
Let the enrolment “fight” begin!

- 17 Apr because my last examination paper ends on 16 Apr. Anytime before that im super busy. =p I guess I get my lease of LIFE after 16 Apr till maybe before school starts *again*
